dim sum = happiness

Dim Sum (Brunch) 700

Shrimp siu mai, shen jian bao (pan fried pork and veggie bun), some savory flaky crispy thing

Cha siu hap, mixed meat and veggie gao, cha siu bao (barbecue pork bun), qian chen gao (thousand layer cake)

Fried tofu, fried pork skin, and I'm not even going to try to guess what that last thing is called. It was vermicelli, mushrooms and random seasoned veggies wrapped in a crispy bean curd skin. It was delish!

Afternoon snacks 800

Costco samples: mini cinnamon bun, Spanish Marcona almonds

See's caramel chocolate and nut clusters, Fuji apple slices, white chocolate macadamia nut cookie

Green onion bing (pancake), peppermint bark

My dad was cooking spaghetti with meat sauce for the kids' lunch tomorrow after church. It came out surprisingly good -- all fragrant and rich from the meat and garlic.
Good thing I didn't have any -- it would have definitely put me over 2500 calories.
